Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of clerical and administrative support workers in the Audit and Compliance department.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to managers and professional associates, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure the performance and results of multiple teams within the department align with overall departmental and corporate objectives.
• Develop and implement departmental plans, including short and long-term goals, in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of audits, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and monitor the implementation of these actions.
• Ensure departmental compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements as necessary.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and risk awareness, and keep up to date on industry best practices and developments.
• Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

• Has 1 to 3 years of management experience

Competencies

Education

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Certifications

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Additional certifications may be required or preferred
