Job Description

As the Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, you will be responsible for examining monthly forecasts and annual budget estimates to ensure their completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you work closely with various departments to assess budgeting and accounting reports and identify areas for improvement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and review budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning processes across the organization and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify budget variances and provide recommendations on allocation adjustments.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and analyses to assist in decision-making.
  • Participate in financial forecasting, budgeting, and operational performance analysis.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on initiatives to enhance internal controls and financial processes.

Work Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (preferably in FP&A).
  • Experience with financial modeling, reporting, forecasting, and writing macros.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and SAP. 
  • Experience building strong knowledge of the industry, company, processes and customers.
  • Experience solving a wide range of straightforward problems.
  • Experience developing solutions using standard procedures.
  • Experience working with little to no supervision and a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Education

  • Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
