Job Description

As a Director, Human Resources, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating human resources activities and staff within the organization. This role focuses on strategic HR initiatives and decision making to support the company's growth and objectives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and processes that align with the company's overall business strategy.
  • Manage and oversee the HR department, providing guidance and support to HR team members and ensuring consistent and efficient execution of HR functions across the organization.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruiting, and onboarding to ensure the availability of high-quality talent.
  • Implement performance management systems, setting expectations for employee performance, and engaging in ongoing feedback and development discussions with staff.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing conflicts and grievances, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Direct the development and delivery of training and development programs to enhance the skills and abilities of employees at all levels.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to create and maintain a competitive and equitable compensation and benefits structure.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and maintain current knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to drive data-driven decisions and improve HR policies and practices.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
  • Additional certifications may be required or preferred
