Job Description
As an Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing tasks that draw upon the skills of multiple maintenance and craft occupations to ensure the upkeep and repair of machines, mechanical equipment, and building structures. Your duties will include pipe fitting, HVAC maintenance, insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, electrical and mechanical equipment repair, equipment installation, alignment, balancing, and building, floor, and stair repair.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair various machines, mechanical equipment, and building structures to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
- Perform pipe fitting, HVAC maintenance, insulating, welding, machining, and carpentry tasks to support facility maintenance and improvement projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical equipment malfunctions or issues.
- Install, align, and balance new equipment or system components to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Repair or replace damaged building elements, such as floors or stairs, to ensure the safety and functionality of facilities.
- Collaborate with team members and other professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Track and document maintenance and repair activities to support effective planning and recordkeeping.
- Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
- May lead functional teams or projects/programs
- Has 3 to 5 years of work experience
Competencies
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Certifications
- Certifications may be required or preferred.
