Fitness Instructor

Job Description

As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for providing a memorable experience for guests. Your primary focus will be performing various duties, scheduling facility use, and maintaining and providing equipment for sporting events or recreational pursuits. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a range of attending duties at our recreation facility, ensuring efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
• Schedule the use of recreation facilities, coordinating bookings and managing availability to maximize utilization.
• Maintain and provide equipment for various events or recreational pursuits, ensuring the equipment is safe and properly stored when not in use.
• Operate concessions and events, adhering to safety procedures and providing exceptional customer service.
• Act as a lead, coordinating the work of team members, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized facility, enforcing facility policies and regulations as needed.
• Address any customer inquiries or concerns professionally and efficiently, providing a memorable experience for facility guests.
• Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Work Experience

• Requires expertise in a variety of work processes through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
• Typically acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others but not a supervisor
• Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
• Has 4 to 5 years of work experience

Competencies

Education

• High School Degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.

Certifications

• Certifications may be required or preferred.
