Job Description
In the role of Income Auditor, you will be responsible for examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting records to prepare financial statements, give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. You will also support the installation or advising on systems of recording costs or other financial and budgetary data.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately examine, analyze, and interpret records.
- Prepare comprehensive statements, ensuring adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.
- Audit and evaluate statements prepared by others, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Advise management on systems of recording costs and other data, helping to establish or refine methods and procedures.
- Assist in the identification of risks, opportunities, and recommendations for improving reporting and internal control processes.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure efficient workflows and delivery of high-quality audit and advisory services.
- Continually update knowledge of industry standards, principles, and regulatory requirements, applying this learning to daily tasks and challenges.
- Maintain clear and organized documentation of all audit work, supporting a strong and transparent audit trail.
- Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Competencies
Education
- Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Certifications
- Certifications may be required or preferred.
