Job Description

As a Laundry Manager, you will be responsible for hotel laundry daily operations and services. Directs and work with associate to wash, dry and iron linen for guest rooms, Food and Beverage/Culinary and employees within existing time constraints. Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Complete inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action. The position strives to ensure guest and associate satisfaction, while maximizing the department financial budget.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and coordinate the work activities of cleaning personnel and laundry staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of your team, providing feedback, support, and training as needed.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to ensure work is completed according to established standards and timelines.
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across all areas of the establishment.
  • Set performance goals for staff and hold them accountable for meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Develop and implement laundry policies and procedures in compliance with company standards and relevant regulations.
  • Ensure regular inspections are conducted to evaluate the cleanliness of all areas and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Participate in budget planning and financial management for the department, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to laundry services in a timely manner.
  • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

  • Has 2 years of management experience

Education
