Job Description

As a Manager, Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the organization or department that serves food and beverages. This role is responsible for managing service, support, and technician teams to ensure a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and budgeting to maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Mentor, train, and evaluate staff to improve performance and enhance customer experience.
  • Implement work schedules and assign responsibilities, ensuring optimal coverage for all shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, seeking continuous improvement.
  • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Work Experience

  • Manages the activities of service, support, or technician teams
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and local business plan
  • Receives guidance and oversight from higher-level manager
  • Typically doesn't perform the work supervised
  • Has 4 to 5 years of work experience
  • Has 1 to 3 year of management experience

Education

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Certifications

  • ServSafe Manager Certification or equivalent
  • Food Handler's Permit
  • Additional certifications may be required or preferred
