Job Description

As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests at tables in our dining establishment and banquet facilities. Their primary focus is to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the satisfaction and enjoyment of our guests.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they arrive, making them feel welcome and providing them with any necessary information.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests, using order-taking software or writing them down manually.
  • Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen staff, ensuring any special requests or dietary requirements are accurately relayed.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, attending to any needs or requests.
  • Perform regular table checks to ensure guest satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing silverware, and refilling condiments.
  • Be knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods, in order to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Work Experience

  • Entry-level position with limited prior training or relevant work experience
  • Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks
  • Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy
  • Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures
  • Has 0 to 1 year of work experience
