Job Description

As a Supervisor, Housekeeping you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of cleaning activities carried out by dedicated personnel in various establishments such as hotels, offices, and more. Lead a team of professionals while working independently within established protocols and best practices to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise cleaning personnel and delegate tasks to ensure proper completion of cleaning activities.
  • Monitor and maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all assigned facilities.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support for cleaning staff to improve performance and professionalism.
  • Manage schedules, shifts, and logistics to optimize team performance and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of facilities to ensure that all areas are clean and sanitary.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints, feedback, or concerns related to housekeeping and cleaning services.
  • Maintain clear communication with staff and upper management regarding timelines, expectations, and challenges, and implement solutions to address any issues.
  • Ensure the team complies with established safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
  • Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cleaning processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing new techniques and protocols.
  • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Work Experience

  • Requires expertise in a variety of work processes through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
  • Typically acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others as their supervisor.
  • Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
  • Has 4 to 5 years of work experience.
  • Has 3 to 4 years of supervisory experience.
