Job Description

As a Supervisor, Loss Prevention, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of loss prevention employees to ensure the safety and security of company assets. You will coach and develop team members, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to prevent losses. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of loss prevention employees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent asset and inventory shrinkage.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify potential risks.
  • Train and coach team members on loss prevention procedures.
  • Monitor and review security camera footage.
  • Collaborate with managers and other departments to improve security measures.
  • Conduct investigations on suspected internal theft or fraud.
  • Communicate effectively with law enforcement and other external agencies.
  • Monitor and update employee training on theft prevention techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to losses and investigations.
  • Respond to and resolve potential security breaches.
  • Develop and review loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in loss prevention technology.
  • Create and present reports on loss prevention metrics and strategies to senior management.

Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

  • Has 5 or more years of work experience
