Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Record and maintain employee time and payroll data accurately.
• Compute employees' time worked and commission.
• Utilize payroll and time management systems effectively.
• Compute and post wages and deductions as needed.
• Prepare and distribute paychecks to employees.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll-related information.
• Continuously develop and improve payroll processes.
• Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

• Requires expanded knowledge and experience in own area
• Builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers
• Solves a range of straightforward problems
• Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures
• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
• Has 3 to 5 years of work experience

Competencies

Education

• Associate's Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Certifications

• Certifications may be required or preferred.
