Job Description

As a Supervisor II, Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for directly overseeing and coordinating activities of workers engaged in preparing and serving food. This individual will also function as a working supervisor for a business support team and be responsible for the team's results.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate activities of food preparation and service staff.
• Ensure that quality, presentation, and timeliness of food meets or exceeds standards.
• Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels and cost control measures.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate employees to develop high-performing teams.
• Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers.
• Handle customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Schedule staff and assist with work assignments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and enforce necessary sanitation protocols.
• Implement appropriate policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings, menu planning, and equipment maintenance efforts as needed.
• Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

• Works within established precedents and practices
• Analyzes information to solve on-going problems
• Has 5 or more years of work experience

Competencies

Education

• High School Degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.

Certifications

• Certifications may be required or preferred.
