Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the lodging and accommodations department, ensuring efficient and seamless service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve key business objectives in line with company goals.
• Create and maintain budgets, allocating resources to meet operational and financial targets.
• Monitor and evaluate team effectiveness, implementing improvements as needed to optimize performance and productivity.
• Collaborate with other directors and stakeholders within the organization to ensure alignment of goals and strategy.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development for all team members, driving growth and success.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to lodging and accommodations.
• Evaluate and respond to customer feedback, implementing changes as needed to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Work Experience

• Provides leadership through varying levels of managers
• Accountable for the results of diverse areas within one or more locations
• Develops and executes strategy to achieve key business objectives
• Decisions guided by company strategy and objectives
• Has 15 or more years of work experience
• Has 5 to 7 years of management experience

Competencies

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Certifications

• Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA)
• Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS)
• Additional certifications may be required or preferred
