Job Description

The Human Resources Analyst will collect, compile, analyze and interpreting HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to provide insights and recommendations hat drive informed decision-making across various HR functions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze HR-related data, including but not limited to employee demographics, compensation, turnover rates, performance evaluations, and recruitment metrics.
  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to HR leadership and other stakeholders, highlighting key trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize resource allocation through automation, technology adoption, and process redesign.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, ensuring that HR practices align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Guide and/or assist with performance, benefit, compensation review and evaluation.
  • Conducts audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified based on FLSA regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy and best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
     

Work Experience

  • 5-7 years of  experience as a Human Resources Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors or other HRIS is required.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, HRIS, statistical software).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Certifications

  • SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus
