Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the lodging department, ensuring that all guest needs are met and complaints are addressed in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement department policies, procedures, and standards to maintain and improve guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery.
- Evaluate performance of team members, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed to improve their skills and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and control expenses, identifying opportunities to optimize financial performance and resource utilization.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners as necessary to maintain quality accommodations and services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into departmental operations as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

- Manages service, support, or professional associates and/or supervisors
- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
- Decisions guided by policy, resources and business plan
- Receives moderate guidance
- Has 5 to 7 years of work experience
- Has 0 to 1 year of management experience
Competencies
Education
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Certifications
- Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA)
- Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS)
- Additional certifications may be required or preferred
